Counseling Services are available free of charge to students, faculty, and staff, as well as spouses and dependents at Logan University.

How Do You Know If You Need Counseling?

It isn't always obvious when stress has become something more. Consider reaching out if you notice:

  • Difficulty concentrating or remembering details
  • Feeling worried or anxious
  • Changes in sleep, or frequent tiredness and irritability
  • Concern or withdrawal from family and friends
  • Low motivation or energy
  • Feeling that things in your life are "out of control"
  • Changes in appetite, including weight loss or gain
  • Ineffective or self-defeating behaviors, or self-damaging acts
  • Feelings of guilt, self-blame, or worthlessness
  • Using alcohol or drugs to relieve stress
  • Lack of enjoyment in things you used to like
