A strong advocate for women’s health, Kristina Petrocco-Napuli, DC, MS, FICC, FACC will lead a presentation on “Infusing Patient Centered Care with Integration” at the 2020 Women’s Health Symposium. She will discuss the necessity of caring for the female patient through a whole health model of integrative care, while reviewing evidence-based practices and strategies to implement in practice. Additionally, Dr. Petrocco-Napuli will summarize models of integrative care as it relates to female patients throughout their physiological journey.
Dr. Petrocco-Napuli is the Assistant Dean of the College of Chiropractic at Logan University and the recipient of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) 2020 Acamedician of the Year Award. Additionally, as president of the ACA Council on Women’s Health, she was instrumental in bringing the first Women’s Health Symposium to Logan in 2019 and led the planning of the 2020 event alongside Logan’s Department of Postgraduate Education. Dr. Petrocco-Napuli also serves as an adjunct associate professor in the Master of Science in Human Anatomy and Physiology Instruction Program at New York Chiropractic College.
Dr. Petrocco-Napuli earned a bachelor’s degree in health sciences from the University of Arizona, and a Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. She then attended Syracuse University, where she graduated with a Master of Science from their Graduate School of Education with a concentration in instructional design, development and evaluation. She is currently a student in Logan University’s Doctor of Health Professions Education program.
An experienced speaker, Dr. Petrocco-Napuli has presented at over 100 conferences, conventions, ceremonies and symposiums. Her work has been published more than a dozen times, and she is currently involved in five ongoing research projects. She is extremely passionate about women’s health and focuses much of her work in this area.
