Ideal Health and Wellness is a multi-disciplinary integrative clinic that blends traditional and holistic healthcare. We offer family practice, psychiatry, functional medicine, chiropractic, and acupuncture. We are looking for a motivated, team-oriented chiropractor to join our growing team. Candidates must possess strong critical thinking skills pared with clinical knowledge and must be comfortable working in a mutually respective multi-discipline team environment that places the focus on the needs of the patient first. Provide comprehensive direct and indirect patient care in the outpatient setting within the scope of practice of the chiropractor. Exercises autonomy in medical decision making and provides a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services. Provision of care includes, but is not limited to: comprehensive assessment and physical examination; treatment of patients utilizing a variety of chiropractic techniques and physical modalities, ordering and interpreting imaging when warranted, provide teaching and education for patients and their families regarding wellness and disease; and ordering appropriate referrals as indicated.
Responsibilities:
– Perform physical examinations and assess patients’ medical histories
– Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions, focusing on the spine and nervous system
– Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs
– Utilize various chiropractic techniques such as manual adjustments, trigger point therapy, and therapeutic exercises
– Educate patients on proper posture, ergonomics, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term wellness
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications:
– Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited institution
– Valid Iowa license to practice as a Chiropractor
– Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical management
– Experience in acute pain management and pain relief techniques
– Excellent diagnostic skills and ability to perform thorough patient assessments
– Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively explain treatment plans to patients
– Webster certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
