Kelly Brinkman has been a certified Cox practitioner since 1990 and has taught the Cox Flexion Distraction curricular course at Logan University since 1991. In the past she has taught postgraduate seminars for Dr. James Cox through the National College of Chiropractic and Logan University and began teaching the Cox Flexion Distraction course on the weekends at Logan starting in 2000. She feels this table and technique is a huge practice builder and provides the ability to treat patients very effectively using low force with specific segmental effects. Cox Flexion Distraction is the most evidence-based technique in the profession and is well recognized within the health care community and she teaches the course from the most current research available.

Kelly Brinkman became a Certified Compliance Peer Reviewer in 2012 and soon thereafter certified as a Medical Compliance Specialist -Physician and a Certified Professional Compliance Officer in 2018. She has taught the Billing and Documentation and Jurisprudence courses at Logan for the past 7 years and has been a compliance advisor for the Logan University Health Center System for the past 5 years and was the compliance officer for the clinic where she worked prior to becoming full time at Logan in 2016. She has taught numerous post graduate compliance seminars through Logan University over the years and enjoys helping the students learn the risks associated with the healthcare industry so that upon graduation, they get started successfully.
