In partnership with the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) Council on Women’s Health and the ACA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics, Logan University presents the sixth annual Symposium on Women’s Health, September 28-29, 2024 on Logan’s campus.
This year’s symposium will focus on The Fourth Trimester: Post-Partum and Neonatal Health, and will feature dynamic speakers presenting topics such as postpartum recovery, mental health, breastfeeding, neurological infant issues and c-section recovery.
“The ACA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics is excited for this year’s symposium partnership with Logan University and the ACA Council on Women’s Health,” said Jennifer Brocker, DC, DICCP, president of the ACA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics. “The fourth trimester is a very vulnerable time for the mother-baby dyad, and there is so much overlap in care during this time. We are excited for the opportunity to share knowledge across specialties to provide the most comprehensive care for our patients.”
The symposium is open to all healthcare professionals working with female patients and provides up to 12 hours of continuing education credit for Doctors of Chiropractic (DC).
“Continuing education should be an opportunity for chiropractors to collaborate and learn from each other in order to improve health and wellness for their patients, especially female patients,” said Amber Henry, M.Ed., Ed.S., Ed.D., director of continuing education at Logan University. “I hope those attending will leave the symposium with new expertise and strategies to improve healthcare for the female patient population.”
