Misti Buckland, M.Ed, serves as the Assistant Dean of Student Engagement. In this role, Misti oversees co-curricular student engagement opportunities including clubs and student organizations, administers and maintains student event site Logan Connect, and manages on-campus new student orientation as well as co-advises Logan Student Ambassadors.
She completed her bachelor’s degree in general studies from Southeast Missouri State University, her master’s degree in higher education with a minor in student affairs and leadership from the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) and is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in education from Logan University.
Misti previously worked at Washington University as the academic advisor for the Specialized Master’s Program at the Olin School of Business. She loves her life with her partner and their three dogs, the UCONN women’s basketball team, the United States women’s national soccer team (especially Kelley O’Hara), Pokémon Go, and woodworking.
