Megan Zacheis, EdD

Dr. Megan Zacheis joined Logan University in April 2020 as an Academic Success Coach and is currently the Accessibility and Success Coordinator. In her role, Dr. Zacheis supports students in providing and determining the eligibility for academic accommodations, supports the testing center with student and faculty needs, assists with special projects at the direction of the Associate Dean of Students. She also teaches in the College of Health Sciences.

Dr. Zacheis earned her Doctorate in Instructional Leadership with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration. Her research focused on nontraditional student retention and success predictors. Dr. Zacheis earned her Doctorate and Master of Science in Administration-Management from Lindenwood University and Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Southeast Missouri State University.

With years of experience in higher education, Dr. Zacheis worked as a Site Director and Account Manager at Lindenwood University prior to joining the team at Logan University. She worked extensively with nontraditional students in on-ground, online and hybrid program formats ranging from bachelor to doctoral degrees.

Dr. Zacheis enjoys helping students identify and achieve academic goals. She is passionate about guiding students through academic accomplishments to fulfill their career aspirations. She considers positivity and resiliency part of the framework for achieving academic success. Her optimistic demeanor provides an encouraging and motivational approach when collaborating with students.

A former Division I student athlete, Dr. Zacheis enjoys team environments fostering growth and development. She enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
