Llanie Nobile, PhD

Adjunct Faculty

Dr. Llanie Nobile is an adjunct professor of basic science courses in the undergraduate programs. She earned a B.S. degree in Biology from Mars Hill University in NC and a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Florida Atlantic University. Her research included the areas of biotechnology, biochemistry, and chemistry as she studied marine natural products used in anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory drugs.

Dr. Nobile began teaching college-level science courses in 2001 and started her online teaching career in 2006. Since then, she has worked with many universities and companies designing and launching online and in person biotechnology and chemistry courses. These included ACT and StraighterLine where she wrote and edited standardized exam questions and universities such as Florida Atlantic University, Keiser University, American College of Education, Herzing University, University of New England, Grand Canyon University, and is currently a full time Teaching Associate Professor at Marquette University in their chemistry department.

Dr. Nobile is excited to join the science department at Logan University.
