Helen Halley, MS, RD, LD

Clinical Coordinator – Applied Nutrition and Dietetics

Helen Halley was born and raised in St. Louis. She went to college at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities for an undergraduate degree in dietetics and obtained an MS in Nutrition from the University of St. Joseph. She interned at West Virginia University Hospitals and became a Registered Dietitian (RD).  Helen believes all foods fit and there should be no food judgement.

Helen began her career at Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto, CA as a clinical dietitian. She specialized in oncology and nutrition support (i.e. tube feeding and intravenous nutrition). She enjoyed patient care, especially providing nutrition education and counseling. Her passion for teaching led her to managing dietetic interns at Stanford and guest lecturing in Medical Nutrition Therapy at San Jose State University.

After ten amazing years in Silicon Valley, she and her husband moved back to their hometown where their two girls can be closer to their grandparents. As Clinical Coordinator at Logan University, Helen will continue to dedicate her career to dietetic students and future RDs.
