Gerred Zingale
Writing Center Coordinator
Gerred Zingale began his role at Logan University as the Writing Center Coordinator in August 2021. Before joining Logan, Gerred honed his skills as a Writing Specialist at Lindenwood University and a Writing Center Consultant at Saint Louis Community College. Gerred also holds a strong academic background, including a Bachelor of Arts degree in English – Literature and a Master of Fine Arts in Writing, accompanied by certification in teaching Writing Across Disciplines.
In his current position at Logan, Gerred plays an integral role as the Writing Center Coordinator, where he actively supports students in crafting and refining effective and polished works across a diverse range of genres, including business reports, research papers, theses, health record narratives, manuscripts, abstracts, discussion board posts, and case studies. Whether through email, telephone, video, or in-person meetings, Gerred is dedicated to assisting students with their writing assignments and ensuring success in their academic endeavors.
Gerred’s responsibilities also extend beyond student consultations, as he collaborates with the Writing Center Director to implement and monitor rules, policies, procedures, and programs within the Writing Center. This includes the design and facilitation of workshops and presentations (both online and in-person) and embedding programs, all aimed at enhancing the overall writing skills of the student body
