Derek Kaliszewski
Help Desk Technician
Derek Kaliszewski joined Logan University in 2022 as a Help Desk Consultant. In his role, Derek handles assisting staff, faculty and students with various technical needs and providing support for various platforms.
Derek earned his bachelor’s degree in business and applied science as well as a Specialized Associates Degree in Culinary Arts, both from Hickey College. He worked as a sous chef and banquet cook for The Bogey Club as well as a line cook for Sheraton Hotels, LLC.
Derek is a Google IT Certified Support Specialist, as well as earned a number of culinary recognitions:
- 2019 Junior Chef of the Year, St. Louis area
- Gold Medal Champion, National Junior Culinary Team Competition 2018
- Gold Medal Champion, Nashville Music City Festival Two Man Cooking Competition
- President for the Junior ACF Culinary Chapter, St. Louis area
Derek also streams and builds PCs on the side as a hobby.
