Biography
Dr. Gangemi is a chiropractic physician and clinical nutritionist with a passion for natural health care, specifically in the fields of nutrition and manual therapies. He has over 25 years of clinical experience as a practitioner of complementary sports medicine and holistic therapies for patients dealing with a variety of ailments such as hormonal imbalances, digestive disturbances, immune dysfunction, and musculoskeletal problems. His practice focuses on not just treating his patient’s health concerns but helping them move better and live healthier lives.
Dr. Gangemi teaches his natural health care protocol and techniques, Systems Health Care, to doctors and students throughout the US and Europe. SHC is a dynamic evaluation and treatment method which identifies primary problems by identifying and treating patterns in a systematic, individualized progression. SHC employs various applied kinesiology principles and methods combined with a multitude of Dr. Gangemi’s unique and highly effective protocols for patient evaluation, treatment, and management.
Dr. Gangemi is an avid endurance athlete and a dedicated student of many nature-based movement methods. He’s finished 16 Ironman triathlon races including 6 Hawaii Ironman World Championships as well as multiple ultra-distance trail and SwimRun races. He has a unique understanding as an elite-level athlete and holistic practitioner when it comes to evaluating, training, and treating endurance athletes. His natural approach to injury treatment and prevention for athletes is used by practitioners all over the world.
