Robert Trager, DC (‘13)

Biography

Robert Trager, DC, is a chiropractic physician and researcher at University Hospitals Connor Whole Health. In addition, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Trager completed his undergraduate studies at Northeastern University and his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Logan University. Dr. Trager is also certified in dry needling for the treatment of myofascial trigger points. 

Prior to joining University Hospitals, Dr. Trager practiced in a smaller integrative setting in Pennsylvania where he learned the value of collaboration with other healthcare providers. His inquisitive mindset in research and clinical practice was also shaped by his earlier experiences working as a research assistant at Harvard/Massachusetts General Hospital and The Antimicrobial Discovery Center. 

As a prolific author, Dr. Trager has published peer-reviewed research and book chapters on topics including sciatica, disc herniation, spinal stenosis, and thoracic outlet syndrome. Dr. Trager also contributes to the medical community as a peer reviewer, conference speaker, and is an active participant of the Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine & Health. 

Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Trager resides on the west side of Cleveland with his wife and two children.
