Biography
TECHNIQUE AND CLINICAL REHAB DEPARTMENT CHAIR
LOGAN UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF CHIROPRACTIC AND HEALTH SCIENCES
Dr. Brian Snyder has more than 40 years of experience as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Graduating from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1983, Dr. Snyder has maintained private practice in Missouri since that time. In addition, Dr. Snyder continues his academic teachings as a professor at Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri and serves as the Department Chair for the College of Chiropractic Technique and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Snyder serves his academic roles at Logan with a deep conviction to educating students while maintaining the faculty representation at the university. His roles have included positions on the Faculty Executive Council as Treasurer, Vice President, and President of the Council. As Clinic Director at Logan, Dr. Snyder oversaw the student/clinician firsthand learning experiences. An active participant in the post-graduate teachings of the university, Dr. Snyder continues as a faculty member of continuing education offerings and is the lead instructor for Activator I and the co-lead instructor for Activator II. He is also a lead instructor in Logan Basic Technique course at Logan University.
A diplomate of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, Dr. Snyder is X-ray proficiency certified by Russell Erhardt, a member of the Academy of Clinic Interns, and National Board Certified in Acupuncture. He has completed the 100- hour acupuncture certification and maintains his MTAA licensure.
Dr. Snyder is an active member in the International Chiropractic Association (ICA), the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), and the Missouri State Chiropractic Association (MSCA). He also maintains licenses to practice chiropractic in the state of Missouri. With strong alumni connections, he has sat on several alumni advisory boards and served as a Board Member of the Logan Alumni Association representing the faculty and the alumni as well.
He has authored and presented more than 40 publications and presentations ranging from the effect of chiropractic adjusting to the effects of acupuncture on high blood pressure.
A devoted husband, father of three, and grandfather of three, Dr. Snyder enjoys spending any free time possible with family.
