Logan University and ACA Present 5th Annual Symposium on Women’s Health

Logan University, in conjunction with the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) Council on Women’s Health, is proud to present the 5th Annual Symposium on Women’s Health. The event will be held on October 21-22, 2023 on Logan’s campus. The two-day symposium will cover topics including the detection and management of spinal and skeletal osteoporosis, Ehler-Danlos and Hyper-flexibility Syndromes, pelvic floor dysfunction and more. There will be multiple hands-on learning and practicing opportunities as well. The symposium is open to all health care professionals working with female patients. Attending the symposium will also provide up to 12 hours of continuing education credits. …

Logan University is thrilled to welcome the following speakers to the 2023 Symposium taking place April 13-16, 2023. Keynote Speaker: Guy Riekeman, DC Guy Riekeman, DC, was the fourth president of Life University and is currently Chancellor Emeritus. Beatrice B. Hagen Award Presented at Logan’s 2023 Symposium

Logan University graduate Beatrice B. Hagen (‘40) went on to break two notable chiropractic gender barriers: serving as the first female president of an accredited chiropractic college (Logan University, 1982-92) and the first woman to serve on the Council of Chiropractic Education (1986-88). Dr. Hagen’s passion for education and furthering the profession of chiropractic care while breaking gender barriers continues to inspire female chiropractors to this day.
