Sydney Brangenberg, Logan DC student, always knew she wanted to practice chiropractic internationally after graduation. “I love how chiropractors are able to provide ways of maintaining wellness without pharmaceuticals, and it’s exciting to think that I can travel to another country and share my knowledge and care in a region where there aren’t many practitioners,” she said. Howard Bobo, DC student, realized his life’s calling at a young age after the loss of a loved one. “My mom passed away when I entered high school,” Howard said. “A lot of people were there to help me get through it, and as a result, my family grew from it. That sparked my desire to help and serve others. Students Take Skills from Classroom to Clinic Through Preceptorship Program

When qualified Logan University Doctor of Chiropractic students reach their tenth and final trimester, they have a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in a clinical environment of their choice through Logan’s Preceptorship Program. “A preceptorship is the final chapter of a student’s time here,” said Jason Goodman, DC (’98), PhD, director of external clinical rotations. “Students get to spend their final trimester working in their dream scenario, whether that is at a pediatric clinic, a family practice or even in a hospital.
