Cheryl Houston, PhD, RD, LD, FAND, CHES will inform attendees at this year’s Women’s Health Symposium on “Developing a Whole-Hearted Practice for Patient Well-Being.” In this lecture, she will discuss evidence-based findings linking well-being to health and disease. She will explain the role of integrative practices on inflammation, pain and pain management. In addition, Dr. Houston will summarize the role of integrative practices on reducing anxiety and depression and improving quality of life, while also identifying ways to promote holistic health approaches in the chiropractic practice setting.
