Students, Faculty Support St. Louis Puerto Rican Society

Logan University Assistant Professor and Clinician Mero Nunez Jr., DC, along with Logan students Raul Vazquez and Jose Nieves, supported the St. Louis Puerto Rican Society at a local fundraiser on February 23. The fundraiser was held at Mayo Ketchup, a casual/traditional Cuban, Dominican, and Puerto Rican restaurant, in Lafayette Square. The owner, Mandy Estrella, also known as Plantain Girl, sponsored the fundraiser, and 20% of all of Mayo Ketchup’s sales from the day benefitted the St. Louis Puerto Rican Society. UPDATE: Hare in the Air, previously scheduled for Saturday, March 28th, has been cancelled as a preventative health measure. We look forward to hosting this event spring 2021! ______________ Hare in the Air returns to Logan University on Saturday, March 28th, 2020! The event is free to the community and includes egg hunts for children ages 2-8 as well as fun activities for the whole family. Logan is Proud Partner of DASA, USA Hockey & St. Louis Blues

Logan University is proud to be participating in the 10th Annual USA Hockey Sled Classic hosted by the Disabled Athlete Sports Association (DASA) and the St. Louis Blues and presented by the National Hockey League and USA Hockey. The event will be held Nov. 21-24 at the Centene Community Ice Center in St. Louis – the practice facility and community rink of the St. Louis Blues – and will feature a round-robin format tournament between 35 NHL-affiliated sled hockey teams. Still a family friendly Christmas event, The Nutcracker Sweet Tea is perfect for children of all ages — enjoy storytellers, crafts, a dessert buffet, hot chocolate station, pictures with the cast, and a 20 minute performance of The Nutcracker.
