Logan University Health Centers Adopt New Flat Fee Structure of $10 per Visit

Logan University Health Centers have implemented a flat fee structure of $10.00 per office visit at both the Montgomery Health Center on Logan’s campus in Chesterfield and the Mid Rivers Health Center in St. Peters. This fee will cover all services performed during most visits, including examinations, chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture and more (excluding orthotics, radiology services, lab services and any nutritional supplementation or products). “Our goal is twofold,” said Joseph Pfeifer, DC, associate provost and dean of the College of Chiropractic. “We want to increase our local community’s access to quality chiropractic care, and as a chiropractic training program, we …

Logan University Provides Land for Chesterfield Park

Logan University has partnered with the City of Chesterfield and Chesterfield Parks & Recreation to provide a city park on Logan’s campus along Schoettler Road. This is the first and only park in Ward 3. Logan is providing, at no cost, a 4-acre parcel of land near the south campus entrance which will be developed and maintained by Chesterfield Parks & Recreation. The park, which will be called Logan Park, will include a small playground ADA-accessible with rubberized surface with multiple structures; two multi-use courts for pickle ball; and one small pavilion with restroom facilities. Logan Launches Telehealth Technology for Patient Care

In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, Logan University is ensuring its Health Centers are able to deliver chiropractic care to patients while adhering to state mandates and guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This week, Logan launched Doxy, a HIPAA-compliant telehealth tool that allows chiropractic clinicians to meet with patients via video conferencing. Using a mobile device or a desktop computer, patients can ask questions to a clinician without having to leave their home.
