Logan DC Students Compete in 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship

The 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship, which included the top 30 teams from around the world, took place at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego this summer. Didier Fardin, a trimester 2 Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) student, and Gabriel Fardin, a trimester 3 DC student, represented their father’s country of France in the tournament and placed 18th in the world. A Toast to Teaching: Drs. Hillgartner, Gutweiler, Cranwell Celebrate Combined 145 Years at Logan

Three College of Chiropractic faculty members recently celebrated a combined 145 years of teaching at Logan University: Roy Hillgartner, DC (’69), instructor; John Gutweiler, PhD, professor; and Richard Cranwell, DC (’76), MS, DACBN, professor. After decades of dedication, each educator has made his mark on the university. Dr. Cranwell—who is celebrating 46 years of teaching this April—has developed numerous courses for Logan, including static palpation, motion palpation, extremity adjusting and case management. Doctor of Chiropractic Students Attend Career Roadshow in Milwaukee

Five students from Logan University’s Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) program attended a Career Roadshow in Milwaukee on March 9 and 10. Hosted by Logan Career Services, the event was designed to help student doctors explore a variety of career options and build their network of professional contacts. Integrated Health Care Resident Works to Overcome Barriers in Access to Care

Each year, a Doctor of Chiropractic is chosen to participate in Logan’s Integrated Health Care residency. An extremely competitive program, this position is open to any DC eligible for licensure or with a license in the state of Missouri who has graduated from an accredited chiropractic program and has a passion and desire to work in integrated clinical settings such as community-based health centers and hospitals. Residents rotate through Logan’s multidisciplinary health care partners including Affinia Healthcare, CareSTL Health, the Mercy JFK Clinic and the St. Louis County Department of Health.
