Gabriel Valdes has come a long way in pursuit of his dream. Originally from Caguas, Puerto Rico, Gabriel graduated from Colegio Católico Notre Dame and later earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Universidad Ana G. Méndez, Recinto de Gurabo. He moved to the United States in August 2021. With a passion for healthcare, Gabriel found an interest in chiropractic. Noah Hass, a trimester 10 Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) student at Logan University, is working on his preceptorship within the Integrated Health Centers Affinia Healthcare rotation – a community health center serving the safety net population historically impacted by low socioeconomic status, chronic pain and the opioid crisis. This Fall, Ryan Fischer will become the first Doctor of Chiropractic graduate within an academic primary care fellowship at Boston University School of Medicine.
