Logan University recently hosted its eighth annual Anatomy Centered Education & Science (A.C.E.S.) Workshop for local high school students and incoming college freshmen. Taught in small groups by physicians and professionals from various medical specialties, the week-long program allows students to learn more about physical anatomy, body systems, health, wellness and prevention, while gaining hands-on experience in dissection, radiology and more. Logan University Unveils Coggins Education Wing

Logan University unveiled the Coggins Education Wing, which encompasses the north end of Logan’s Administration Building. The wing is named after alumnus William Coggins, DC (’40), who served as Logan’s third president for 18 years. Under his leadership, Logan became nationally accredited and led the merging of Missouri Chiropractic College and Logan. In 1973, he greatly expanded Logan’s campus by acquiring the buildings and grounds of the former Maryknoll Seminary, where Logan is housed today. A three-time Logan alumna, Danielle Angela Eaton, DC (’08) received her undergraduate degree in 2006, her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree in 2008 and her Master’s of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation (MS-SSR) also in 2008. After graduation, she began working at Logan as the assistant director of sports and rehabilitation at the University’s sports medicine clinic.
