Growing up in South Bend, Indiana, Tyler Lymburner initially set his sights on becoming a physical therapist (PT). To reach this goal, he attended and graduated from Trine University in Indiana in 2013 with a degree in Exercise Science. Ferrahs Abdelbaset’s, DC (’08) introduction to chiropractic traces back to the early 2000s after getting the opportunity to shadow a graduate from Logan University’s Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) program. It was during this experience he discovered his passion for whole health care. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Saint Louis University, Dr. Abdelbaset enrolled in Logan’s DC program. “The DC program was great,” Dr. Abdelbaset said. “It was filled with wonderful classmates and a lot of faculty members who were great mentors. A lifelong athlete, Zane Fakes played high school and college football and knows the importance of injury prevention and strength and conditioning in sports. While in high school, he played football in his hometown of Plainfield, Indiana. As an undergraduate student at Ball State University, he majored in exercise science and played as a tight end on the university’s football team. After earning his undergraduate degree, Zane returned to Ball State for his master’s degree in sports administration. Amanda Stevens, DC, MS (ACN), BS (KIN) has dedicated her career to pediatric and perinatal care. She earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick and her master’s degree in applied clinical nutrition from Northeastern College of Health Sciences. Since graduating from Palmer West with her Doctor of Chiropractic in 2011, she has worked with children—primarily infants—especially supporting gross motor development and feeding success.
