During his time as a Logan student, Ralph Filson, DC (69’) had only heard and read about the incredible things that the University’s founder and first president, Hugh B. Logan, DC, had done. “He was a very straightforward, honest person,” Dr. Filson, now a Logan professor, said. “He was a believer in his technique and an honorable man who did a lot for chiropractic.” In the years following graduation, Dr. Filson created a very special bond with Dr. Logan’s widow, Fern Murray, DC, who was also the first student to enroll at Logan in 1935. Community Atmosphere Helps Transfer Student Thrive at Logan

Each year, an average of seven students decide to make a change in their educational career and transfer to Logan University. Trimester 7 student Max Sauer realized that need for change just over two years ago. When he came across Logan’s website, he was impressed with the Assessment Center program. Intrigued by the opportunity for immediate hands-on experience with standardized patients, Max scheduled a campus visit. “When I first …

Student Ambassadors Help New Students Transition to Virtual Life at Logan

Logan Student Ambassadors, Casey Mullen and Kevin Meyer

For any student starting school this summer, the transition post-pandemic means beginning the school year online rather than on campus. This can be a challenge for many students as they adjust to a new class rigor. Logan University’s student ambassadors are available to help students begin their new chapter in chiropractic and health sciences in a virtual way. “As an ambassador for Logan, I’m trying to make new students feel like they’re involved even though it’s virtual, so when they come back to campus they don’t feel left out of anything,” trimester 6 DC student Casey Mullen said. Both Casey …

We Miss You

To our entire Logan community: campus isn’t the same without you here. It’s a little too quiet, and the vibrancy you bring to campus is surely missed. As Logan President Clay McDonald shares in the below video, we’re eager for the day we’re all back together as a community for on-campus learning. Until then, stay well.
