Logan University Unveils Coggins Education Wing

Logan University unveiled the Coggins Education Wing, which encompasses the north end of Logan’s Administration Building. The wing is named after alumnus William Coggins, DC (’40), who served as Logan’s third president for 18 years. Under his leadership, Logan became nationally accredited and led the merging of Missouri Chiropractic College and Logan. In 1973, he greatly expanded Logan’s campus by acquiring the buildings and grounds of the former Maryknoll Seminary, where Logan is housed today. Logan Alumna Helps Women Balance Career and Family by Sharing Helpful Tools to Simplify Life

A three-time Logan alumna, Danielle Angela Eaton, DC (’08) received her undergraduate degree in 2006, her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree in 2008 and her Master’s of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation (MS-SSR) also in 2008. After graduation, she began working at Logan as the assistant director of sports and rehabilitation at the University’s sports medicine clinic. In 2012, Dr. Eaton had her first child and left the position to start her own practice. “Running a solo private practice gave me great flexibility with my schedule and I was able to really focus on my patients,” she said. “However, …

Dominique Roberts: A Veteran’s Journey into Biotechnology

Dominique Roberts came to Logan University to obtain her bachelor’s degree in human biology with the goal of working in the biotechnology field. “At the time, my goal was to integrate knowledge of 3D printing with creating prosthetics specifically for the veteran community,” said Dominique. “Being a disabled veteran myself, this mission was deeply personal. Logan Professor Retires After 40 Year Legacy, Awarded Professor Emeritus

Mike Wittmer, DC (’80) always had two rules as a member of Logan’s faculty. “Rule 1: Help students become a successful DC. A dream that was put on hold for five years is now coming to fruition for Jesse Politowski, DC (’13).
