Honoring the Career and Service of Dr. Mark Reeve

The Logan community lost long-time friend and colleague Mark Reeve, DC (’79) of Austin, Minnesota, this past weekend. Dr.  Mark Reeve was a proud alum and advocate for chiropractic, serving his community and the profession. For more than 25 years, Dr. Reeve volunteered his time to serving Logan’s Board of Trustees and the Logan Alumni Association, fulfilling two years as president. He was also a Logan benefactor, supporting the University financially as well as through his time as an associate faculty member with Logan’s preceptor program. Logan Postgrad Offers Activator Technique Courses

Logan University Postgraduate Department is pleased to announce that we will be bringing you the first series of online Interactive Virtual Training courses on the Activator Technique. There are a total of 36 hours of CE credit, with each module being 12 hours. The first module is the Basic Scan Protocol of the Activator Method. The Basic Scan will take you on a tour of why Activator works, and how to perform adjustments across the body. Dr. Brett Winchester Co-Authors Chapters in Rehabilitation of the Spine: A Patient-Centered Approach

Brett Winchester, DC (’03) has been around the world and back, bringing his knowledge of spinal cord care to every corner of the globe. From classrooms and lecture halls to Major League Baseball stadiums, he has taught and treated countless students, athletes and patients. Most recently, Dr. Winchester put his teachings on paper, co-authoring two chapters in the newest edition of Rehabilitation of the Spine: A Patient-Centered Approach. “This textbook is considered to be the bible for modern spine care,” Dr. Winchester said. “The first chapter I co-authored covers treatment of the rotational athlete, and the second chapter focuses on …

Students, faculty and staff were invited to watch the ceremony, which was emceed by Senior Clinician and Assistant Professor Allison Harvey, DC. This event recognized the academic achievements of Logan’s College of Chiropractic and College of Health Sciences students from the April 2020 graduating class, as well as faculty members, clinicians and staff, who demonstrate Logan University’s values. With just a few weeks left in the spring trimester, Logan is asking faculty, staff, alumni and friends to provide messages of hope and encouragement to students at Logan.edu/WeCare. Like so many institutions of higher education, Logan postponed Spring Commencement until August and is now making arrangements to hold other end-of-trimester activities virtually.
