When Kate Bruce, DC (’15) sustained a hamstring injury playing soccer during her junior year of high school, she had no idea it would lead to a successful chiropractic career. “After I was injured, I saw my primary care physician and went through physical therapy, but I wasn’t feeling any better,” Dr. Bruce said. Dr. Kemmy Ritter Elected WCCS Director of Public Relations

Kemmy Ritter, DC (‘19) was instrumental in bringing the World Congress of Chiropractic Students (WCCS) back to Logan University’s campus after nearly a decade of inactivity. Originally from Brazil, Dr. Ritter has always been interested in learning more about chiropractic care around the globe. When she met WCCS members at an American Chiropractic Association (ACA) and World Federation of Chiropractic Congress (WFCC) event, she was immediately intrigued with the organization. Micheala Edwards, DC (‘09) has been elected president of the American Black Chiropractic Association (ABCA). She is the fourth woman in the history of the organization to be named president. “Being elected president was a goal I set for myself years ago,” Dr. Edwards said. “I’m very excited to now serve the ABCA in this new role.” Dr. Edwards practices at E.
