Originally from Southern California, Geoffrey Samson, MS-AND (‘23) attended Arizona State University online where he earned a bachelor’s degree in nutrition communications. He graduated in December of 2017 and began work as a personal trainer. “After graduation I decided to go the personal training route, and my nutrition background was very impactful for my clients,” said Geoffrey. On Wednesday, September 6, Logan University opened the doors to the brand-new Fuhr Science Center building. Logan Alumnus Blazes Trail for Chiropractors in Integrative Medicine

Timothy “TJ” Williamson, DC (’19), attended the University of Arkansas for his bachelor’s degree in exercise science. While there he worked as a personal trainer and at a physical therapy practice helping a variety of patients from CrossFit athletes to Razorback football players. “The chiropractors I worked with while at Arkansas were Active Release Technique (ART) specialists who worked closely with athletes on myofascial release,” said Dr. Williamson. “At the time I knew I wanted to get into the medical field but wasn’t sure which path to take. Logan University, in conjunction with the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) Council on Women’s Health, is proud to present the 5th Annual Symposium on Women’s Health. The event will be held on October 21-22, 2023 on Logan’s campus. The two-day symposium will cover topics including the detection and management of spinal and skeletal osteoporosis, Ehler-Danlos and Hyper-flexibility Syndromes, pelvic floor dysfunction and more.
