Melanie Cassidy, MS

Assistant Dean of Student Conduct and Culture

Melanie Cassidy (she/her) joined the Logan University community in January 2022 and serves as the Assistant Dean of Student Conduct and Culture. In this role, Melanie coordinates a comprehensive student conduct and community standards program. Melanie is the primary point of contact for students involved with student conduct and academic integrity concerns and is a resource for faculty, staff and students regarding conduct concerns. Melanie also works with educational initiatives to advance campus engagement around issues of equity and inclusion. Melanie’s passion is exploring the relationship between accountability, integrity, and living and working in community with others.

Melanie holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling and Student Development from Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Gender Studies. Melanie brings over 10 years of experience in higher education from a variety of institutional types. Prior to Logan University, Melanie worked at Washington University in St. Louis and University of Arkansas, Fayetteville working in residence life and crisis response.

Melanie enjoys spending time with her family including her partner, two daughters, and three dogs. She enjoys being creative in the kitchen, crafting, sewing, finding a good bargain, and reading.
