Shailee Saran Varanasi, MS, MSc, RD, LD

Adjunct

Shailee Saran Varansi, MS, MSc, RDN, LD, joined the Logan University team in 2018 and currently serves as an adjunct faculty member. In this role, Dr. Varanasi teaches multiple course such as Future Trends in Healthcare, Cultural Awareness in Healthcare and Human Nutrition.

She completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in food and nutrition from the University of Delhi in New Delhi, India. After moving to America in 2003, she completed her verification from Fontbonne University, followed by a dietetic internship and a master’s degree in allied health from Barnes Jewish College.

Dr. Varanasi has taken on many leadership roles, such as serving on the advisory boards for Logan’s Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance, Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, and Bachelor of Science in Life Science. She is also an executive board member and treasurer for the Indian Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition for the Delhi, India chapter. In addition, Dr. Varanasi serves as the president–elect for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics St. Louis chapter.
