Logan University Graduate Thrives as Clinical Dietitian

Originally from Grand Rapids, Minnesota, Morgan Joshi, RDN now works as a clinical dietitian at in Atlanta, Georgia. With a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Wisconsin-Stout already under her belt, Morgan was well-prepared to dive deeper into the field of nutrition and dietetics through her graduate studies.

She chose Logan University for her master’s degree due to the university’s personalized approach and smaller size.

“What appealed to me about Logan was, not only the high quality of the education and the curriculum, but also the faculty and staff focus on student goals,” she said.

Another appealing aspect of the program was the seamless transition into the dietetic internship, as it was her goal to obtain her Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification.

“Logan’s program offered the ability to complete the online program and the in-person dietetic internship in a timely manner and in a supportive environment,” Morgan said.

Morgan graduated from Logan’s Master of Science in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics (MSAND) program in 2021 and passed her RDN exam. She now applies her knowledge and skills as a clinical dietitian at Grady Memorial Hospital. Her daily work involves making a tangible difference in the lives of patients and using her expertise to support health and recovery.

Outside of her professional life, Morgan enjoys a variety of hobbies that keep her active and engaged. Whether she’s exploring hiking trails, indulging in diverse ethnic foods, swimming, or watching classic films, she values balancing her career with personal interests.

“The flexibility of the MSAND program, the way it is set up with online courses and the variety of choices for the dietetic rotations was really appealing,” she said. “The program really helped me take the next step in my career and prepare me for my current position – I am hoping to make a positive impact in this field.”
