Dr. Jared Hardina Continues a Logan Legacy in Chiropractic Care

Jared Hardina, DC (’24), is not just a recent graduate of Logan University’s Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) program; he’s also part of a remarkable legacy deeply rooted in chiropractic.

Dr. Hardina’s journey at Logan was more than an academic pursuit—it was a continuation of a family tradition spanning back over 65 years. Three members of his family graduated Logan with DC degrees: his uncle-in-law, Dr. Michael Fenander, a 1997 graduate; his mother-in-law, Dr. Laura Fenander, a 1989 graduate; and his late grandfather-in-law, Dr. Arden “Doc” Fenander, a 1959 graduate.

“The legacy actually extends even further past my immediate in-laws,” he said. “I am now chiropractor number 24 in this family, and each one of us have gone through Logan’s chiropractic program.”

Originally from Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, Dr. Hardina enrolled in Logan’s DC program in 2021. While at Logan, he expressed his gratitude for the strong sense of community he felt on campus.

“There was a family feel at Logan,” he said. “Everywhere you go, people are looking to help you if they can. Everyone says “hi” in the hallways and are truly looking to help each other get better.”

As he prepares to begin his professional career, Dr. Hardina will return to his home in Wisconsin and work with his mother-in-law at Fenander Chiropractic & Wellness, their family’s business.

“The clinic started in 1978 by my grandfather-in-law,” Dr. Hardina explained. “Joining the family practice that’s been going on for so long and being part of a long line of chiropractors that I married into is something truly special.”

As Jared steps into his role at the family clinic, he carries with him the skills and values he developed at Logan, ensuring that both the Logan and Fenander family legacies will thrive for years to come.
