Logan Thanks Our Veterans: Madison Veronee

Madison Veronee, Senior Airman in the United States Air Force and student in Logan’s Bachelor of Science in Human Biology program, has served our country for six years.

“I joined the Air Force when I was 18 years old,” Madison said. “I was just starting out in life. I had no idea what I wanted to do or where I wanted to go.”

After enlisting, Madison decided she wanted to become an oral surgeon. Thanks to the great education benefits of the Air Force, she was able to start down the path of pursuing this dream.

“I earned my associate degree, then found Logan’s Bachelor of Science in Human Biology program,” said Madison. “I loved that it was flexible and totally online so that I could fit my education into my already busy schedule.”

Madison loved learning about biology and is thankful for the professors at Logan who are always available to answer any questions she may have.

In the meantime, Madison has been working in logistics for the Air Force, a role for which she has discovered a brand-new passion. Although she’s set to graduate in May with her bachelor’s degree, Madison already has plans to pursue a master’s degree in logistics management. Her goal is to work in logistics for a company like Boeing.

“The Air Force has truly set me up to have a successful life. I wouldn’t be where I am today without it,” Madison said. “The people I’ve met along the way have changed my life. I’ve learned so much over the last six years and I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to serve my country.”
