Logan is now accepting applications for 2020 Spring Scholarships!
This year, 26 scholarships, ranging from $125 to $7,500, are open to all qualifying Logan Doctor of Chiropractic students. Click here for more information. Applications are due by 5 p.m. March 13, 2020.
“The number one goal of scholarships is to reduce overall student loan debt, but it’s also a great way to get connected to previous graduates and potential employers,” said Logan’s Associate Director of Financial Aid Laurel Miller.
Logan scholarship applications go through a blind selection process, meaning those who review the scholarship applications are not provided with information about the applicant, ensuring a fair selection process.
Laurel offers the following tips for applying:
- Use the application as an opportunity to showcase yourself – think about what you’ve done, how you are going to give back and why you want to practice chiropractic.
- Don’t wait until the last minute to apply. Allow enough time to write your essay and have someone review it before submitting. The Logan Writing Center is available to provide feedback: writingcenter@logan.edu.
- Consider applying for more than one scholarship, if you qualify.
